I am furious that there are laws governing women's bodies. Most of these laws have been written by men. Most of the progress in reproductive rights and the necessary laws regarding choice have been initiated by women. The fact that we need to protest for what we believe is right for our own bodies, for our personal lives, is an outrage. We must be vigilant for all women --- especially for low income women who receive limited or no access to clinics and assistance with unwanted pregnancies and basic health care. I am pro- choice and I will fight to the bitter end not to reverse the progress we have made for our freedom. This does not make me nasty. It makes me human and confirms the fact that MY body is MY temple.
